Are you a graduate looking to gain further experience supporting children and young people with additional needs (SEN)? GSL may have the perfect role for you!

GSL is seeking an Aspiring Psychologist/Therapist specializing in supporting students with SEN in a Mainstream Primary School in Lambeth. This role is ideal for graduates aspiring for MA's, MSc's, or PHD's, or even Assistant Psychologist positions within the NHS.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support identified children with SEN in various settings.
  • Assist in tracking and providing feedback on children's progress.
  • Lead small group sessions and interventions.
  • Attend to children's personal needs and support behavior management.
  • Undertake learning activities and adjust them to meet learning goals.
  • Provide a safe and positive experience for children with additional needs.

Requirements

  • A graduate in a relatable degree with a 1:1 or 2:1 classification.
  • Strong academics in A-Levels, BTECs, and GCSEs.
  • Previous experience supporting children, preferably in a school setting.
  • A hard-working, friendly, and confident nature with a willingness to learn.

Details

Start Date: September, with potential to start sooner.

Contract: Long Term, Full Time (5 days per week, Mon-Fri).

Salary: GBP95 - GBP110 per day, working school hours (typically 8:30am - 4:00pm).
