B&M Retail, Warehouse Operative in Bedford

Annual Salary: £20,600 to £26,000*

B&M is currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to join B&M's Bedford Distribution Centre. B&M's shift patterns include:

• Monday – Friday Rotational 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
• Monday – Friday Nights 10pm-6am

Pay Rate:

Basic pay £12 for 6am-10pm / £10 for 10pm-6am with an additional £1.90 extra.

Role Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operatives are responsible for serving B&M's customers better than anyone else by ensuring the right stock is available at the right time. Key duties include:

• Picking products to be sent to B&M's stores.
• Training on driving safely within B&M's 1.1 million square foot warehouse using Mechanical Handling Equipment, known as LLOPs.
• Picking products correctly for stores and ensuring they are beautifully stacked on pallets.

• No chill or freezer work.

• Self-motivated individuals who can meet required standards and targets.
• The role is physically demanding but will keep you active.
• Experience is desirable but not essential.
