Cleaner, Part-time, Under 18

Overview

South Cambridgeshire District Council is recruiting for two permanent part-time Cleaners to join the Facilities Management team based at South Cambridgeshire District Council's Cambourne Office. As a Cleaner, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the South Cambs Hall Building is maintained to a high standard.

The shift patterns available are:

• Morning Cleaner - 07:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
• Afternoon Cleaner - 14:15 p.m. - 18:15 p.m.

Flexibility in shift pattern hours may be discussed during the interview stage. Overtime opportunities may arise based on service delivery requirements.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, self-motivated, and proactive, with excellent communication skills due to the customer-facing nature of the role. A positive image of the Facilities Management Team is essential.

South Cambridgeshire District Council is currently participating in a 4-day working week trial (32 hours per week) aimed at improving recruitment and retention while supporting colleague well-being.
