Overview

South Cambridgeshire District Council is recruiting for two permanent part-time Cleaners to join the Facilities Management team, based at South Cambridgeshire District Council's Cambourne Office.

Job Description

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for ensuring that the South Cambs Hall Building is cleaned to a high standard. You will provide a clean and comfortable working environment for all building users, including staff, tenants, members, and visitors.

Shift Patterns

• Morning Cleaner: 07:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
• Afternoon Cleaner: 14:15 p.m. - 18:15 p.m.

Note: There may be some flexibility with shift pattern hours, which can be discussed during the interview stage. Overtime may also be available based on service delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the building.
• Demonstrate a positive and supportive image of the Facilities Management Team.
• Communicate effectively with all building users.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Possessing good communication skills due to the customer-facing nature of the role
