About the Role

Sony Electronics is seeking a proactive self-learner with a passion for maximizing value and minimizing risk of spend with suppliers who wants to become a Procurement Executive Intern at Sony Europe!

Your Responsibilities

• Support various teams (Business Support, Marketing, Recruitment, R&D & Professional Solutions) with the development, coordination, and implementation of strategic sourcing plans.
• Promote sustainability initiatives within the department, focusing on decarbonization and research of standard methodologies.
• Support the successful delivery of departmental performance metrics to deliver continuous improvement.
• Ensure the successful post-contract delivery of goods and services through vendor management activities.
• Liaise and build successful relationships with internal partners and external third-party suppliers.
• Prepare and conduct fact-based supplier negotiations in support of strategic sourcing initiatives.

What You Will Bring

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate yourself well, both in written and verbal form.
• Strong numerical and logical skills with an ability to make data-driven decisions.
• A courageous and innovative approach to work with a self-learner attitude.
• Willingness to travel, nationally and internationally when required.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), additional European languages are advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint).
