Primark has an updated business strategy called “Primark 2030 – The Next Chapter” with significant financial ambition over the next 6 years coupled with growth across Primark's trading channels. Whilst doing this Primark need to continue to focus on Primark's colleagues, customers, the planet and evolving regulatory landscape.
Given the breadth of Primark's business and scale of Primark's transformation, Primark will organise Primark's Transformation team around three domains:
- Channels focus on end-to-end customer journey, engage to sell, to delight and surprise customers with inventive experiences and a power brand.
- Commercials deliver the full lifecycle of order to receipt/ concept to store and the capability to support Primark growth ambitions.
- Enterprise teams enable the business to scale operations efficiently while reinforcing Primark DNA through leading colleague experiences and ESG programmes.

In your role, you’ll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here’s a flavour of your day-to-day:
- Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive transformation strategy for the respective domain you are partnered with.
- Support the Change Leads in the preparation and delivery of the Change Pipeline planning process for your domain.
- Work in conjunction with strategic planning functions to advise on impact of multiple projects across the colleagues and business.
- Provide guidance to the programme change team on the strategies directive of the project.
- Review Change strategic plan and materials to ensure the approach aligns with the business direction and other initiatives.
- Embrace Primark's culture of change across Primark using data, models, frameworks, tools and innovative techniques.
- Working with business stakeholders, create and refine change management strategies aligned to strategic transformation priorities, their communities and business needs.
- Prepare summaries and analyse specific challenges, change context, climate and capacity to implement and adopt new ways of working.
Here at Primark, Primark want everyone to feel valued – so please bring your authentic self to work, of course with some other key experience and abilities for this role in particular:
- Significant Change experience gained through several complex and varied environments. Global or significant cross border experience is a must. Minimum 5 years of Change Large scale change planning and design.
- Understanding of end-to-end business processes in the area they will partner with is essential.
- Experience of working within one or more of the functional areas in the domain is a distinct advantage.
- For the Channels role, deep knowledge of at least two business functions is required.
- Must be someone that can influence without authority and engage with leaders at all levels.
