Transport Administrator

Overview

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to play a vital role providing administrative support to the management team in DHL's transport department.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

• Responsibility for efficient transportation and delivery of products to customers using a commercial motor vehicle meeting company, customer and legislative requirements.
• Allocating driver and vehicle resource to transport plan.
• De-briefing and pre-briefing drivers.
• Representing DHL in a professional manner to customers.

WHAT DO DHL NEED FROM YOU?

• Previous experience of data input and admin duties.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent PC skills (Microsoft Office).
• Transport background (desirable but not essential).
