Gymshark

Gymshark is a British fitness apparel and accessories manufacturer and retailer headquartered in Solihull, England. Founded in June 2012, Gymshark creates and distributes its own range of fitness wear. In 2020, the company was valued at over £1 billion. Ben Francis is the majority owner of the company.

Gymshark's pieces are reasonably priced; the most expensive item they sell is $80, which is what you'd pay for one pair of leggings from most other competitors. If it seems like Gymshark materialised in your Instagram feed out of nowhere, that's because it kind of did.

Influencer marketing has been the backbone of Gymshark's digital strategy since its early days. Keep in mind, this company launched in the early days of social media influencers, as well. This was the start of GymShark's athlete community, which would eventually lead to the company's worldwide recognition.
