About the Role

This role is key to the education service, holding strategic oversight for admissions and home to school transport policy. Responsibilities include working closely with the Supported Transport Service and ensuring eligible children receive timely, safe, and cost-efficient transport.

Management of school admissions will ensure compliance and fair access to places.

Effective budget oversight is critical, especially regarding the growing demand for home to school transport.

About You

OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL seek an experienced manager who can engage with service user groups and families. You should be credible in working with schools and partners, establishing positive working relationships across the organization.

Strong management skills and knowledge in education, law, finance, and procedural matters are essential.
