About the Role

East Sussex County Council's Children’s Services were judged as “Good” in East Sussex County Council's last inspection so there is a strong foundation on which to develop services. The service is recognised for innovative practice and a commitment to a relationship-based approach for helping children and their families achieve the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead integrated commissioning and transformation across Children’s Services and the wider system.
• Work closely with the new Director of Children’s Services.
• Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve financial sustainability.
• Drive service improvements and outcomes for families and children.

Salary and Benefits

Your salary will be £98,117 - £107,046 per annum.

Work Pattern and Hours

This position is permanent with a work pattern of 37 hours per week.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven leadership experience within children's services.
• Strong understanding of service delivery and improvement.
• Integrity and moral leadership qualities.
