About the Role
East Sussex County Council's Children’s Services were judged as “Good” in East Sussex County Council's last inspection so there is a strong foundation on which to develop services. The service is recognised for innovative practice and a commitment to a relationship-based approach for helping children and their families achieve the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead integrated commissioning and transformation across Children’s Services and the wider system.
- Work closely with the new Director of Children’s Services.
- Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to achieve financial sustainability.
- Drive service improvements and outcomes for families and children.
Salary and Benefits
Your salary will be £98,117 - £107,046 per annum.
Work Pattern and Hours
This position is permanent with a work pattern of 37 hours per week.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven leadership experience within children's services.
- Strong understanding of service delivery and improvement.
- Integrity and moral leadership qualities.
