Adults' and Children's Financial Services (ACFS) is a pivotal part of the Adult and Children Social Care Pathways. ACFS is responsible for facilitating and overseeing the payment to providers of Adult and Children’s Social Care and for the collection of client contributions in accordance with Care Act 2014 and local policy.
Staffordshire County Council is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join Staffordshire County Council's existing service as an Assistant Finance Officer. It is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy, fast-paced team responsible for delivering Staffordshire County Council's payment and billing functions across social care.
Main Responsibilities
The role is principally responsible for processing accurate and timely provider and client/carer payments, as well as client contributions charges. You will provide operational support to Finance Officers and other colleagues, collaborating with internal stakeholders to continuously improve the business area and provide excellent customer service.
The role provides an opportunity for hybrid working from Staffordshire County Council's office and remote working to suit circumstances and business needs.
