Overview

The Business Administration Apprentice will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of Trade and Smile UK's organisation. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various administrative tasks while developing essential skills in a professional environment. Duties

  • Assist with general office administration tasks, including filing, data entry, and document management.
  • Support financial operations by using QuickBooks for invoicing and expense tracking.
  • Maintain organised records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
  • Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Collaborate with team members on various projects, providing clerical support as needed.
  • Utilise Google Suite for creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to business administration.

Skills

  • Proficient in computerised systems and comfortable with data entry tasks.
  • Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a busy office environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is preferred.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and personal development within the business administration field.
