Amazing Opportunity: Behaviour Buddy Wanted!

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students who may face behavioural challenges? Milestone Education Ltd is seeking a dedicated and understanding Behaviour Buddy to join Milestone Education Ltd's team.

Responsibilities:

• Individualised Support: Build strong, positive relationships with students, offering one-on-one support and guidance to help manage and improve behaviour.
• Collaborative Intervention: Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour management strategies tailored to the needs of individual students.
• Conflict Resolution: Assist in resolving challenges within the school setting, encouraging effective communication and de-escalation techniques to create a calm and supportive atmosphere.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and track behavioural progress, providing feedback and collaborating with the teaching team to adjust strategies as needed.
• Positive Reinforcement: Implement positive reinforcement strategies, acknowledging and rewarding positive behaviours.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS or be willing to complete one.
• Previous experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviour.
• Hold a relevant educational qualification.
• Demonstrate a compassionate and patient attitude, with a genuine commitment to understanding and supporting students facing behavioural challenges.

Additional Details:

Hours: This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.

Salary: £90 to £100 a day, depending on experience.
