As a Business Insights Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to create and maintain reports and dashboards for key stakeholders, including our Executive Leadership Team, category teams, sales teams, and external customers. Your proficiency in data analysis tools such as MS Excel, Cognos IA, and Power BI will enable you to deliver accurate, timely, and valuable reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a portfolio of reports and dashboards, ensuring their accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Finance, and Operations, to gather and verify data integrity for reporting purposes.
  • Analyse complex datasets, extract meaningful insights, and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their information needs, address their key questions, and provide actionable insights.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes, streamline workflows, and identify opportunities for enhanced efficiency.
  • Support ad-hoc data requests and provide guidance on available data sources and possibilities for data analysis.

About You

We would value the following attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Analytics, Statistics) or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualisation using tools such as MS Excel and data visualisation platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey analytical findings in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and incorporate diverse perspectives.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in reporting and delivering high-quality work within set deadlines.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence concepts, data modelling techniques, and statistical analysis is desirable.
