About the Role
OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL is a diverse team of innovative and passionate professionals dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing a mental health crisis in Oxfordshire. OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL's team of AMHPs comes from various professional backgrounds including social work, nursing, Occupational Therapy, and Psychology. Partnership and collaborative working both internally and with other external organisations is pivotal to OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL's business.

You’ll have the ability to promote the rights, dignity, and self-determination of patients, enabling them to contribute to the decisions affecting their quality of life and liberty.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out MHA assessments to the highest standards, respecting confidentiality, choice, dignity, and privacy.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives by reporting potential improvements and implementing changes.
- Complete legal and other relevant reports to organizational and nationally specified standards.
About You:
OXFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL would expect that you are:
- Passionate about following the professional standards of SWE with a commitment to your professional development.
- A trained AMHP from a recognized background (Community Psychiatric Nurse, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Psychology), with a valid warrant to practice.
