Job Summary

ANGEL CARE- a life of caring is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join ANGEL CARE- a life of caring's team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in a home care or care home setting. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans to ensure the well-being of ANGEL CARE- a life of caring's clients. A valid driving licence is preferred, as it may be necessary for transporting clients.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Support clients in maintaining their independence while ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Follow individual care plans and report any changes in clients' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to provide updates on care and progress.
• Maintain accurate records of client care and activities as required.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to home care practices.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed (if applicable).

Experience

• Previous experience in a care role is advantageous but not essential; ANGEL CARE- a life of caring welcome candidates who are eager to learn.
• Familiarity with IT systems for record-keeping and communication is beneficial.
• A good command of English is required for effective communication with clients and staff.
• Experience with developing or following care plans is desirable but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £12.31-£13.57 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
