This role requires the post holder to provide an efficient and comprehensive clerical and administrative service for the department, including maintaining patient-related records, making appointments, and preparing correspondence.
You will work as part of a team providing clerical and administrative support, and may participate in providing a welcoming reception service to staff and visitors.
Main Duties
- Carry out all aspects of clerical and administrative support.
- Maintain healthcare records including computerized systems and databases.
- Reception duties, including monitoring visitor attendance and handling telephone enquiries.
- Process incoming referrals through Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's E-Referrals system.
- Type correspondence as required.
- Co-ordinate healthcare appointments for patients.
- Filing, photocopying, and document management.
- Participate in training courses and maintain a personal development plan.
- Cover for sickness and annual leave as necessary.

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 Business Administration or willingness to work towards it.
- Minimum OCR/RSA II typing/word processing experience.
Skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills and knowledge of IT systems.

- Experience in an office/reception environment.
