Commis Chef Training Ground Trainee

Fulham Football Club is looking to recruit a commis chef trainee with basic kitchen skills that can be developed over time as progression within the business. Working closely with the chefs and rest of the kitchen team, this is a trainee role where no previous experience is necessary. Successful applicants must have an enthusiasm for food and nutrition within an elite sporting environment. Duties will include washing up and cleaning when needed.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Preparing ingredients for dishes and working on knife skills
• Basic cooking
• Understanding processes and how menus are put together, particularly in the build-up to games
• Overseeing deliveries and taking inventory
• Organising and basic cleaning in the kitchen
• Communicating with chefs and supervisor to ensure tasks are completed correctly and on time
• Preparing food on team coaches if required—requires travel
• Washing up and cleaning as part of the trainee role
