Marston Holdings is looking to increase the capability of Marston Holdings's services by recruiting another to join the team! This is a full-time, permanent position and encompasses out of office hours [OOH] and requires extensive UK-wide travel.

Together, Marston Holdings is the UK's leading supplier of intelligent traffic enforcement and management solutions, as well as a prominent provider of smart city solutions that enhance productivity while minimizing operational costs. Marston Holdings supply environmental sensors, networks, and data solutions to support global decarbonization efforts, leveraging real-time data with cleantech technologies to drive meaningful environmental change.
The successful candidate will need to hold a Full UK Driving License.
This role is a critical part of the operations team. It is the responsibility of Marston Holdings's Field Engineers to ensure that the hardware necessary for Marston Holdings's traffic enforcement and management products is delivered and maintained in a timely, successful, and safe manner.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Head of Service Management, PMO Manager, Technical Manager, and the wider service delivery team to address recurring technical issues and implement training or documentation as necessary.
- Commission systems by working with Marston Holdings's engineering partners to install at client sites, ensuring systems are delivered as specified and supervising the activities of engineering partners and subcontractors.
- Configure software by adjusting system settings "at the pole" to maximize delivery efficiency and optimize solution effectiveness.
- Provide system support by assisting the helpdesk team, performing system checks, and troubleshooting client issues to ensure maximum system uptime.
Requirements
- At least two years' experience in a field technical role, preferably with an enforcement, CCTV, or ANPR system provider.
- A solid understanding of Networking/IP.
- A good working knowledge of hardware components (PCs, cameras, wireless systems, etc.) and networking devices.
- Full UK Driving License.
