Applications are invited for one or more Chapman Fellowships in Mathematical Finance within the Department of Mathematics, commencing September 2025. These will be for a fixed term of 2 years, providing an excellent opportunity for those seeking to pursue an academic career in this field.
About the Role
You will produce independent and original research in Mathematical Finance, submit publications to leading refereed journals, and assist with teaching and administration. Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking a self-directed program of research and scholarship.
- Teaching undergraduate students and supervising MSc projects.
- Engaging with the national and international Mathematics community.

Further Information
Positions are available for a fixed duration of 2 years. Candidates who have not yet been awarded their PhD may be appointed as Research Assistants within a salary range of £43,003 - £46,297 per annum.
