Job Summary
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be an integral part of the care team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Recognising and facilitating the daily needs of residents.
- Conducting formal supervisions and appraisals.
- Contributing to care planning and coaching support workers.
Key Responsibilities
The purpose of your role is to:
- Maintain the personal care needs of residents.
- Respect the dignity of individuals and promote their independence.
Reporting Structure
You will report to the Home Manager, Deputy Manager, or Nurse.
Qualifications
You should have, or be working towards, an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
Skills and Experience
This role could be for you if you have:
- Previous experience in a senior care role.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An empathetic and caring nature.
