OJ Civils is seeking a dedicated and hardworking CSCS Labourer to join OJ Civils's team. The ideal candidate will possess a valid CSCS card and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and teamwork on construction sites. This role involves assisting skilled tradespeople, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up equipment.
• Support tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Handle materials and tools safely, ensuring they are stored correctly after use.
• Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.

Skills

• Valid CSCS card is essential for this position.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within a construction environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Good communication skills to follow instructions clearly and report issues effectively.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks throughout the day.
• Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is advantageous but not essential.

Job Type: Fixed term contract (Contract length: 2 days)
