Cleaner - Part-time, Immediate Start

Overview

South Cambridgeshire District Council is recruiting for two permanent part-time Cleaners to join the Facilities Management team at South Cambridgeshire District Council's Cambourne Office. This role offers two shift patterns:

• Morning Cleaner - 07:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
• Afternoon Cleaner - 14:15 p.m. - 18:15 p.m.

Please note that there may be flexibility with shift patterns, and overtime may be available depending on service delivery requirements.

Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the South Cambs Hall Building is cleaned to a high standard and that all users enjoy a clean and comfortable environment. You should present a positive image of the Facilities Management Team and demonstrate good communication skills, as the role is customer-facing.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, conscientious, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. A proactive attitude and good customer focus are essential.

South Cambridgeshire District Council is currently participating in a 4-day working week trial (32 hours per week) to enhance recruitment and retention while supporting employee wellbeing.
