Join Staffordshire County Council's brand-new service to help people regain their independence and learn new skills.

Requirements include a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Casual Bank positions are available with shifts from 7am to 10pm, including weekends and bank holidays. Waking night shifts may be required during winter months.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care and support plans focused on regaining independence.
• Administer medication and provide personal care.
• Support with eating and drinking.
• Complete care records accurately.

Ideal Candidate

• Enthusiastic and sensitive in supporting independence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to undertake manual handling tasks.
• Adaptable to change and able to prioritize tasks.

What you will have

• A caring nature and the ability to complete the Care Certificate.
• Full UK Driver’s license and your own vehicle.
• Experience in a regulated care role.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
