Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business and Administration Apprentice to join the Digital Admin Support Team. Opportunities will be provided to work across a range of different teams within Digital Transformation, including:

  • Digital Business Administration
  • Clinical Coding
  • Contracts & Purchasing
  • Telecommunications
  • IT Service Desk
  • Digital Programmes - Project Support

Full training for the role will be part of your induction to the service along with the Level 3 Business and Administration Apprenticeship and will include study time.

Main Duties of the Job

This role will predominantly provide administrative support to the Clinical Coding Department with logging and tracking of patient records, collections and returns of patient records to meet monthly deadlines. This role will include a wide range of additional administrative duties, assisting with record keeping, meeting administration, diary and inbox management, purchasing processes, fault logging, tracking, and reporting.

Person Specification

Experience

  • Essential: Experience using computer software packages
  • Essential: Understanding of Data Protection and Confidentiality issues
  • Desirable: Experience using Microsoft O365 (inc. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Desirable: Work experience; paid, unpaid, voluntary, or school placement

Qualifications

  • Essential: GCSE English and Maths (A* - C or 9 - 4 or equivalent qualification/relevant experience)
