Data Centre Control Room Operative

Overview

ICTS is seeking a reliable and technology-savvy Control Room Operative to monitor alarms and coordinate security responses for ICTS (UK) Ltd's Data Centre client in Hayes.

Shift and Schedule

You will work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern with 12-hour shifts, covering both days and nights.

Responsibilities

• Meeting performance targets for alarm response.
• Coordinating manned guarding teams to address issues.
• Identifying risks and escalating concerns.
• Auditing faulty equipment to minimize client risks.
• Liaising with emergency services for alarm activations.

Qualifications

A valid SIA Public Space Surveillance (PSS) (CCTV) licence is essential. You should have:

• Experience in alarm monitoring within a control room.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Competent IT skills, familiar with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A five-year checkable history and references.
• Pass a criminal records check.
• Willingness to undertake further training.
