Dog Groomer

Overview

Glamorous Grooms is looking for a self-employed dog groomer to rent the table inside Glamorous Grooms.

- Groom dogs according to specific breed standards and customer preferences.

- Bathe, brush, and trim pets' fur.

- Clip nails and clean ears.

- Perform basic health checks on pets.

- Monitor pets for any signs of distress or discomfort during grooming process.

- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area.

Please only apply if you have a level 3 dog grooming qualification.

• Previous experience as a dog groomer with more than 1 year salon experience.
• Strong customer service skills to interact with owners.
• Knowledge of different grooming techniques for various breeds of dogs.
• Familiarity with basic veterinary care and common health issues in pets.
• Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and comfortably.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and standing for long periods.

In this role, you will provide professional grooming services, working closely with pet owners to understand their preferences.

To be successful, you should have previous experience as a pet groomer or in a related field and strong customer service skills.
