Rio Rio Swim is seeking a skilled Dressmaker to create custom swimwear garments. This role requires a passion for fashion and excellent sewing skills. Experience with stretch fabric is essential.

Responsibilities

• Be contactable during working hours Monday to Friday and respond to messages or calls within 24 hours.
• Prepare to work long-term with flexibility, as bespoke garments are created based on incoming orders.
• Measure accurately to ensure proper garment sizing.
• Create custom patterns and designs tailored to client specifications.
• Cut fabric according to patterns and assemble garments using sewing machines and hand stitching.
• Make alterations to clothing to achieve desired fit and style.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques.

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience as a Dressmaker or in a similar role.
• Experience using stretch fabric.
• Proficient in using sewing machines, sergers, and other sewing tools.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques, fabrics, and patterns.
• Attention to detail and precision in measurements and sewing techniques.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
