Overview

Barking & Dagenham, North East London Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse with a Specialist Practitioner qualification to work in the Integrated Care Team, as a Band 7 District Nurse Team Leader.

Job Responsibilities

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of safe care to a caseload of patients allocated to the team, including being professionally and legally accountable. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality nursing care in the community.
  • Managing a team of Community Nurses and Health Care Support Workers.
  • Supervising and appraising staff members and students.
  • Maintaining excellent communication with patients and team members.

Essential Skills

The ideal candidate should possess the following essential skills:

  • Excellent clinical skills.
  • Managerial and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • The ability to travel between sites.
  • Non-medical or community Nursing Prescribing qualification.

Pay and Benefits
