Barking & Dagenham, North East London Foundation Trust is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse with a Specialist Practitioner qualification to work in the Integrated Care Team, as a Band 7 District Nurse Team Leader.
Job Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of safe care to a caseload of patients allocated to the team, including being professionally and legally accountable. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality nursing care in the community.
- Managing a team of Community Nurses and Health Care Support Workers.
- Supervising and appraising staff members and students.
- Maintaining excellent communication with patients and team members.
Essential Skills
The ideal candidate should possess the following essential skills:
- Excellent clinical skills.
- Managerial and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and IT skills.
- The ability to travel between sites.
- Non-medical or community Nursing Prescribing qualification.

Pay and Benefits
This post attracts a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary, with minimum payments of £4,551 and a maximum of £5,735 per annum pro rata. Other benefits include:
