Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery used in the fabrication of metal components, ensuring optimal performance.
• Utilise hand tools and power tools for tasks such as grinding, welding, and assembling parts.
• Fabricate sheet metal components according to specifications, maintaining precision and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure efficient operation and prevent breakdowns.
• Conduct basic mathematical calculations to measure dimensions and ensure accuracy in production.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in operating machinery and tools.
• Familiarity with tooling processes, including grinding, welding, fabricating, and assembling.
• Basic maths skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Experience using hand tools is essential; familiarity with power tools is advantageous.
