Examination Invigilators - All College Campuses

There are vacancies for invigilators at Ebbw Vale, Cross Keys, Newport, Cwmbran and Usk. Options will be discussed at interview. Invigilators will be recruited to the college’s bank of staff to provide ad hoc invigilation cover sometimes at short notice. They will work under the supervision of the examination office to ensure the smooth running of all paper and computer-based examinations in compliance with awarding organisation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Distribute, collect, and collate examination materials as directed by examination officers.
- Actively invigilate groups of learners or individuals.
- Complete attendance registers.
- Preserve the confidentiality of all examination issues.
Requirements
Previous experience is desirable. Employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and registration with the Education Workforce Council if appropriate. Successful candidates will be expected to pay for the Enhanced Disclosure and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
