Position Overview
WHGS is seeking enthusiastic and committed Exam Invigilators on a casual contract basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct examinations following the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) and WHGS regulations.
- Uphold the integrity and security of the examination process.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The role requires excellent customer service skills, effective communication, and the ability to work under pressure while multitasking. Candidates should be able to enforce regulations firmly yet fairly and handle problems promptly. Flexibility, reliability, and attention to detail are essential.
Experience in the education sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
Working Conditions
Exams occur at various times throughout the academic year; thus, these positions are seasonal. There are no guaranteed hours, meaning work will be on a casual, ad-hoc basis. Working days and hours are flexible, but punctuality and a professional appearance during exam periods are required.
Salary and Benefits
The hourly rate of pay is £12.48.
