Event Security

Overview

As an Event Security Officer, you will ensure the safety and security of attendees at various events. This position is ideal for individuals looking for regular weekend work or casual shifts based on availability.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control and monitor crowds.
• Conduct regular patrols and operate surveillance equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and assist with conflict resolution.
• Maintain clear communication with the security team and event organizers.
• Provide a high-end customer experience from entry to exit.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate accordingly.
• Take accurate notes to complete reports and logbook entries.
• Enforce health and safety requirements.
• Attend training courses as requested.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties requested by the client.

Person Specification

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.
• High level of professionalism and reliability.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good organizational skills and excellent timekeeping.
• Ability to use initiative and be adaptable.

Essential Requirements

• SIA Security Guarding Licence.
• Five-year employment history.
• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.

Desirable Qualifications

• Experience working in the Security industry.
• SIA – Door Supervisor Licence.
• NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety.
