Role Overview: Brighton & Hove City Council is recruiting experienced electricians for Brighton & Hove City Council's Housing Repairs and Maintenance Team. Your role will be vital in ensuring compliance with the Wiring Regulations.
Job Responsibilities
- Upgrade electrical installations in communal and domestic settings.
- Test electrical installations, producing necessary certifications.
- Detect and diagnose faults.
- Rewire circuits or full installations as required.
- Work with asbestos, with training provided.
- Install smoke detection systems.
- Produce Smoke Detection certifications.
Working Environment
You will work mainly in occupied properties, delivering excellent customer service while adhering to safety and quality standards.
