Join the FA Event Delivery Team in an exciting role that leads and supports the delivery of FA football matches at Wembley Stadium and other locations. This position is integral to the successful execution of a wide range of football events, including matches for the England Men's and Women's Senior Teams, as well as domestic cup finals like the Emirates FA Cup and Adobe Women's FA Cup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including competing teams, UEFA/FIFA Officials, Match Officials, on-site Security, and event contractors.
  • Serve as the primary contact for competing teams and match delegates, providing essential information and troubleshooting match organization issues.
  • Organize planning meetings with relevant FA and Wembley departments to ensure all aspects of match organization are covered.
  • Lead briefings and chair meetings with event stakeholders, including event planning meetings and match day briefings.
  • Collaborate with Broadcast, Marketing, Commercial, Competitions, and Communications Departments to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Support the development of sports presentation plans and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
  • Recruit and mentor event support staff, including UCFB Event Assistants and volunteers.
  • Comply with all company policies to maintain health, safety, and wellbeing standards.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in planning and delivering high-profile sporting events.
  • Experience in football or stadium environments.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong financial understanding and ability to interpret event budgets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Desirable Skills

  • Line management experience.
  • Experience with UEFA/FIFA competitions.
  • Relevant degree or similar qualification.
