Field Operations Manager

Overview

Thames Water is currently seeking a Field Operations Manager to join on a permanent basis. This role will be based out of Maple Lodge STW. As the Field Operations Manager for the SSPS Team, you will manage a team of Pumping Technicians across the West of the Thames region, ensuring daily management of Pumping Assets.

• Manage experienced Skilled Technicians responsible for operational maintenance of Pumping Assets.
• Deliver high Team performance linked to company metrics such as pollution and customer complaints.
• Drive a strong Health and Safety culture.
• Control and monitor Team spending within budget.
• Collaborate with the SSPS Team for effective service delivery.
• Support Out of Hours Call-out cover on a Roster basis.

To be successful, you should have:

• Operational management experience.
• Excellent people-management skills.
• Experience in waste network operations (desirable).
• Budget management experience.
• Full current driving license and own transport.
