Floating Support Worker

Overview

Pobl Group have an opportunity for a part-time Floating Support Worker to join Pobl Group's Floating Support team in Mid-Powys, providing vital assistance with housing-related issues for individuals in the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Encourage and motivate clients to engage with their community and develop life and social skills.
• Provide housing-related support to help clients maintain their tenancy and prevent homelessness.
• Offer advice, information, and support to clients.
• Complete necessary administrative tasks, including developing risk assessments and support plans.
• Manage a caseload of clients with varying needs.
• Liaise with other agencies to meet clients' needs.
• Assist clients with benefits and healthcare registrations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Knowledge of housing-related support and benefits.
• Strong organizational and IT skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in handling difficult situations.
• Excellent listening skills.

Benefits:

• Competitive salary of £23,585.00 FTE / £14,660.00 for 23hrs per week.
• Work pattern: to be discussed at interview, Monday to Friday, 9-5.
