Founded in 2005, Footasylum has a proven track record in the inception of Own Brand labels in the UK and European markets. Brands such as Glorious Gangsta, KWD, Monterrain, and Zavetti are notable examples.
Knowing of the opportunity that exists to grow the business' multicategory Own Brand proposition further, BrandASYLUM has been formed. This new business unit aims to increase this proposition's commerciality and brand legitimacy through targeted investment in strategy, people, and time. You will be the response for the lifecycle management of the Own Brands.
BrandASYLUM is a new addition to the Footasylum group, so the business unit requires you to have an entrepreneurial mindset and approach. You should have a firm understanding of best practices in the areas of expertise but have the agility in the process to adapt to the needs of the brands. As the pillars of Desirability, Visibility, and Accessibility are circular, collaboration and teamwork across the business unit will be crucial in the success of BrandASYLUM.
As a Graphic Designer you will be working closely with the Marketing Team, Studio and a talented team of Creatives. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a natural flair for layout design, POS experience as well as excellent knowledge of digital mediums.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to ensure the successful execution of original concepts.
- Analyze and understand the needs of design briefs, proactively seeking necessary information.
- Deliver all projects on time, adhering to agreed-upon deadlines.
- Create high-quality designs for both print and digital mediums.
- Efficiently manage time to meet project deadlines.
- Pursue continuous learning and improvement in design techniques and tools.
- Foster effective communication with other teams and departments within the business.
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in art-working for print and digital mediums.
- Experience in the retail sector is preferred.
- Expertise in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator & InDesign.
- Familiarity with using brand guidelines to create cohesive designs.
- Strong skills in typography, layout, and composition.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and receptiveness to feedback.

Footasylum used Peak's Customer AI to create a predicted customer view of people most likely to be engaged with, and be in the market for, Footasylum's products. These customer segment profiles are then used to target lookalike audiences via social media in order to acquire new customers to the Footasylum brand.
