Location: Exeter and/or West Hill Outdoor Learning Centre (Ottery St Mary)

InFocus supports young people with vision impairment and complex needs. InFocus Charity aim for those InFocus Charity serve to live their best lives and be as independent as possible within their communities.

The charity operates on a beautiful 13-acre site on the outskirts of Exeter, providing a sensory-rich environment that enhances learning, communication, and mobility skills. InFocus Charity's facilities include:

• Sensory gardens
• Discovery gardens
• Play areas

Additionally, InFocus Charity have a 10-acre Outdoor Learning Centre at West Hill for InFocus Charity's young people and community groups to engage in:

• Forest school activities
• Tree planting
• Organic horticulture, including vegetable growing
• Landscape management
• Enhancing biodiversity

As a volunteer gardener:

InFocus Charity believe hands-on experiences with nature are vital for InFocus Charity's young people. As a gardener volunteer, you will play an essential role in maintaining InFocus Charity's sites, requiring physical work to keep the grounds inviting. No prior experience is necessary—just a love for nature and good physical health. InFocus Charity provide all necessary training and support for safe and effective volunteering.
