Are you keen to work in Women’s Health in the outpatient setting? University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant - Receptionist to take on a cross-site role, based at Worthing Hospital on the Gynaecology Day Unit and at the CDC. This role will allow you to gain insight and experience in the Gynaecology setting.
The successful candidate will be a good communicator who enjoys working with people in a varied clinical environment, caring for patients with Gynaecology issues. You will support the Nursing and Clinical teams to deliver high-quality care to women in various clinics.
- Communicate effectively, politely, and courteously.
- Be the patient's advocate and recognize when to seek support from senior staff.
- Possess good organizational and planning skills.
- Follow policies and pathways, providing emotional support to patients.
- Support patients with daily living activities.
- Demonstrate competence in computer use.
- Support colleagues and new starters.
- Act with professionalism at all times.
