An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant to join an educational setting in the Stockton-on-Tees area, providing specialised care to children with severe and complex care needs.
Apollo Home Healthcare's team collaborates closely with teachers and pastoral staff to offer essential support for children with additional healthcare needs, ensuring their full participation in education.
Clinical Interventions
Apollo Home Healthcare offer full clinical training to equip you with skills to manage clinical interventions, including:
- Enteral feeding
- Tracheostomy Care
- Suctioning
- Personal care
- Moving & handling
- Medication Administration
Work Schedule
This position operates Monday to Friday during term time only with hours between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Essential Experience
Applicants must have:
- Previous relevant healthcare experience (3 months minimum)
- Personal Care experience
- Moving & Handling experience
- Medication Administration experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
