Harewood Arms Hotel is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join Harewood Arms Hotel's team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of Harewood Arms Hotel's hotel, ensuring that guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to the highest standards of cleanliness.
• Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and tea in guest rooms.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly.
• Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment is maintained and used safely.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 20 kg.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
• A basic understanding of cooking is an advantage but not mandatory.

Expected hours: 37 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
