Hub Lead Driver

Overview

This is a newly developed position created to oversee the shift for the day-to-day operations of the cinch brand within the large national automotive group BCA. cinch is a fresh kind of service that makes life easier for motorists.

You will play an essential role within the Hub, helping to oversee the entire day-to-day operations delivering the cinch vehicles on your shift. As the Hub Shift Lead, you will be the first point of call for the coordinators and planners, working with the Operations Team Leaders to ensure that shifts run to plan and that BCA Group exceed company KPI measures.

Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrate leadership whilst overseeing the daily operations of the hub shift team
• Work as a key member of the team and build effective working relationships with colleagues
• Develop excellent working relationships with the Head Office teams and create a consistent line of clear effective communication
• Ensure all new starters receive a positive welcome and hub induction
• Take accountability to understand company policies and procedures
• Work alongside the Cinch Driver Trainers to implement and update training
• Ensure the entire team is appropriately resourced
• Support the planning department in day-to-day duties
• Attend meetings with BCAL (BCA Logistics) and the cinch team
• Ensure processes and policies are being followed at all times
