Kayleigh Plant Hire Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Roadsweeper driver with a Class 2 HGV licence to join Kayleigh Plant Hire Ltd's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning various sites safely and efficiently, ensuring timely visits while adhering to all road safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle various types of sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate lorries in a safe and responsible manner, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle at all times.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driving licence (C) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver or in a similar role is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work varied hours as required by the delivery schedule.
