Sony Electronics is seeking a proactive self-learner with a passion for people who wants to become an HR Assistant at Sony Europe! In this role, you will craft and support initiatives and policies that help Sony Electronics attract the right people and develop and empower them once they’re working for Sony Electronics.
Throughout this 12-month paid placement, you will be given the opportunity to not only expand your knowledge and gain valuable transferable skills but also get an exciting insight into Sony’s European HR department. To support your personal and professional development and to shape your understanding of the impact of HR on an organization, you will have exposure to the wider HR framework. Sony Electronics's HR Assistant role offers the chance to rotate across selected HR functions which may include:
- Talent & Recruitment
- Reward & Recognition
- Learning & Development
- Country HR
Potential activities may include recruitment of two early careers programs (Placement and Graduate program), organizing and leading training and development activities, data analysis, and HR case management. These activities, along with your unique view into the placement program as an HR intern, will provide insight into the employee life cycle in practice.
You will work with employees across Europe to collaborate and assist with projects that will contribute to the overall success of Sony.

Throughout the recruitment process until your start date, there will be regular catch-up calls with the program coordinators and current interns to answer any questions and provide guidance on your Sony journey. This will also allow you to connect with other future interns who will form the 2025 Sony cohort and start building your network. If you will need to relocate, this is also a great opportunity to find others in the same situation.
