Teaching Vacancies's successful SEND team provides opportunities and support for a wide range of needs, including SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health), autism, and complex communication needs. Students with SEND make excellent progress and have consistently outperformed national averages over the past three years.

What the Role Offers

Inclusion-based Learning Support Assistants play a key role in ensuring all children succeed and have access to a provision that creates opportunities and supports academic progress. Being part of this team will give you the opportunity to:

  • Show and develop a wide range of inclusion skills
  • Work 1:1 and with small groups of students across both Key Stage 3 and 4
  • Support learners with SEMT and specific learning needs
  • Develop a wider range of SEND and Inclusion skills through CPD

Working Environment

You will work as part of a team, ensuring continuous support for individuals as they reintegrate from Inclusion back into mainstream lessons. There will also be scope to develop independence and identify opportunities for self-growth and development within the field of Inclusion and SEND.
