Johnson Controls - Inside Sales Consultant

Johnson Controls is open to candidates with varying backgrounds, providing full training for the right individuals. If you are a great communicator, customer-oriented, a team player, and willing to learn, you could succeed in this position.

What you will do:

  • Make introduction calls to customers to identify needs, complete quotes, and close sales.
  • Produce quotes for Johnson Controls's customers using the correct pricing tools.
  • Engage with suppliers.
  • Provide customer service including updates to customers.

Required:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with customers and provide a customer-first experience.
  • Personable, willing to learn, and a team player.
  • Able to work to targets and manage own workload.
  • Computer literate - familiar with Outlook, Word, Excel, and internal systems (training provided).

Preferred:

  • Experience in customer-facing roles, such as retail, hospitality, call centers, and sales.
  • Knowledge or experience in B2B Sales or the HVAC and Fire and Security industry is an advantage.
