Overview

As a Locum Consultant in Gastroenterology at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust, you will be a vital part of East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust's gastroenterology service located at the Lister site. You will participate in a 1 in 12 GI bleeding rota, offering a 24/7 bleed service alongside some routine endoscopy on weekends while on-call.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain high quality patient-centered care.
  • Share responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service.
  • Participate in strategic planning and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Engage in teaching and training within the multidisciplinary service.
  • Active involvement in directorate clinical governance activities.
  • Participate in continuing medical education.

Shift and Schedule

Weekend availability is required, ensuring comprehensive coverage for East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust's patients.
