Lead Electronics Engineer

Overview

One of Avanti's clients in the East London area is seeking a Lead Electronics Engineer to guide a small team of three electronic engineers in a cross-functional R&D environment. This position is critical in the development of a new device that integrates electronics, software, mechanical, and control technologies, taking the product through the entire design life-cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electronic systems from concept to production.
• Oversee circuit design, PCB design/layout, and schematic capture.
• Utilize digital electronics, specifically using FPGA boards.
• Manage projects and lead teams effectively.

Essential Skills:

• Comprehensive understanding of the hardware design life-cycle.
• Proficient in VHDL/Verilog coding.
• Experience in project management or team leadership.

Desirable Skills:

• Background in hardware design for regulated industries.

Compensation and Benefits:

The role offers a competitive salary range of £70,000 to £75,000 along with a robust benefits package, which includes:
