Position: Market Attendant

Location: Oastler Market

Salary: £11.59 per hour

Contract Type: Temporary (9 months)

Working Hours: 24 hours per week (Mon – Wed, hours will be per rota)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Market Attendant to join Bradford Metropolitan District Council's Catering and Cleaning Services team at Oastler Market. This role requires the successful candidate to be a key holder and take responsibility for the cleanliness of the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the market.
• Engage with members of the public and market traders.
• Work shifts and be available on some bank holidays.

Experience & Skills Required:

While experience is preferred, it is not essential as successful candidates will undergo an induction training program. Candidates should demonstrate:

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts.
